Why I'm Writing Things Down

Most of what I make here is video. Video is great for showing a command and watching it run, but it is bad at a few things. You cannot copy and paste from it. You cannot skim it. You cannot find it again six months later by searching one phrase you half remember.

So this is the writing section. The plan is simple: short, practical pieces that stand on their own. If something is faster to read than to watch, it goes here.

What to expect

No fluff and no hype, same as everything else on this site. If a post can be three paragraphs, it will be three paragraphs. When a piece pairs with a video, I will link the two.

That is the whole pitch. If you have ever closed a video and wished you could just copy the command, this section is for you.
